Onboarding Executive

Key responsibilities

  • Central point of contact for on boarding of corporate and institutional clients.

  • Handle enquiries on account opening etc. including updating client information.


  • Liaise with clients, business units and trading representatives to ensure completeness of supporting documents in order to optimize turnaround time for account opening.

  • Perform individual/entity name screening and client due diligence under AML/KYC rules to meet regulatory requirements.

  • Conduct timely periodic reviews on corporate and institutional clients according to policies and procedures.

  • Work together with appointed personnel on projects and product launches/initiatives, including improving and streamlining work processes and workflow.


  • 3+ years of institutional Client onboarding & account set up experience in a brokerage house.

  • Working experience in a stockbroking industry or with past experience in similar capacity in Financial services organization regulated by the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS)  will be an advantage.

  • Customer focused and able to provide a high standard of client service.

  • A strong team player and able to work effectively at different levels of the organization with good communication (both verbal and written) skills.

  • Ability to work under pressure independently and multitask.

  • Willing to learn new technologies.

  • Versatile in learning and desire to remain up to date with changes in the marketplace.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Fluent in English. Good command of other Asian languages is an advantage.
